Sometimes I understand you
Sometimes I don't
Sometimes you say you will
And then you say you won't

Sometimes you say you shouldn't
But you think you might
And then you change your mind again
Almost completely but not quite

Sometimes you're undecided
Though you're not really sure
Sometimes you say you think
I don't love you any more

Sometimes you really can't
Think of anything to say
You laugh and say it's funny
But your eyes give you away

Sometimes you say you love me
When you reach over to say goodnight
And sometimes you whisper in my ear
"I think your poetry is shite"
